Chapter 5 - The Infiltrator in the House"Elena found the ledgers," the secretary said coldly, her fingers loosening around the glass. "Just like Claire did. But Claire was smart enough to run to a doctor who actually cared about the oath he took. You Vance men are so predictable. Give you a little power, a little wealth, and you'll blind yourselves to the snakes in your own garden."

Before the glass could hit the marble floor and destroy the chemical evidence, Daniel lunged forward, his gloved hands catching the rim of the tumbler mere inches from the ground. He didn't look at the corporate guards who were currently being subdued by Miller’s team in the hallway. He slid a syringe out of his kit, instantly drawing a sample of the murky milk while simultaneously barking orders to Sarah over his shoulder.

"Get the gastric lavage kit from the vehicle now!" Daniel shouted, his voice echoing with absolute authority through the hollow mansion. "We have less than four minutes to neutralize the acid in this boy's stomach before the heavy metals cross the blood-brain barrier! Move!"

Sarah sprinted into the room, slamming a portable medical case onto the desk. Together, they worked with frantic, surgical precision. Julian sat paralyzed on the floor, the illusion of his absolute control shattered forever as he watched a rogue doctor save his only son from the poison his own empire had manufactured.

"He's stabilizing," Daniel gasped after several minutes of agonizing tension, his hands covered in charcoal solution. He checked Leo’s pulse, which was finally slowing down from its lethal sprint. "The heavy metals are neutralized. But we need a full toxicological lockdown on this house. Everything in this kitchen is a weapon."

Miller stepped forward, clicking the handcuffs onto the secretary's wrists. "Arthur Vance's office downtown is being raided by the FBI as we speak. The paper trail ends tonight."
