Chapter 10 - The Horizon of TomorrowThe sun was setting over the Newport cliffs, casting a warm, amber glow across the grand terrace. A small marquee had been set up, adorned with thousands of white lilies and white orchids. It was an intimate wedding—no press, no corporate investors, only the people who truly loved us.

My father stood beside me, his arm linked securely with mine. He looked down at me, his eyes softening with a rare, emotional pride.

"You've built a beautiful life from the ashes, Elena," he whispered as the first notes of the string quartet began to play. "Your mother and I are deeply proud of the woman you've always been."

"I learned from the best, Father," I said, squeezing his arm.

As the heavy oak doors of the veranda opened, I walked out onto the aisle. At the end of the path stood Thomas, looking sharp and incredibly handsome in a classic black tuxedo. His eyes were fixed on me, shiny with tears of pure happiness.

Sitting in the front row, wearing matching navy-blue suits, were my three six-year-old sons: Ethan, Lucas, and Mason. They were cheering softly, their faces bright with joy as they watched their mother walk toward a future that was safe, beautiful, and full of light.

Julian and Christian stood as Thomas's best men, their protective stance now a symbol of support rather than defense.

When my father handed my hand to Thomas, Thomas took it with an infinite tenderness, his fingers warm and steady. "You are my world, Elena," he whispered, his voice shaking with emotion.

"And you are ours," I replied, looking back at my sons.
