Vanguard Biotech was dismantled. The FBI raid revealed a systemic web of corruption, illegal human trials, and corporate greed. The CEO and several board members, including Dr. Aris Thorne, were indicted on federal conspiracy and human rights violations. The company’s stock plummeted to zero, and its assets were seized by the government.
A massive civil lawsuit was filed on Sophie's behalf against the remnants of Vanguard Biotech. We were awarded a multi-million dollar settlement—money that was immediately placed into a secure trust fund for Sophie’s future education, healthcare, and therapy.
On the day the final papers were signed, I stood on the steps of the courthouse, holding Sophie’s hand. The media was there, but this time, I didn't hide my face.
